Flight details: | Due to previous commitments turned up late to the party but managed to get into the air at 11:40.
Had the most amazing, smooth climb out and at one point my vario averager (set on a 20 sec averager) peaked at 6ms! It was a steady climb, 1.5, 2, 3, 3.5, 4, 5, 6, most unusual for me to see 4, 5 or 6, AND as it was so, so smooth - very enjoyable! So I headed west and flew with some old and new friends. Mark R, Phil Et, Marius, and a very talented chap on a Buzz Z4 with a Gingo Airlite 2 harness (would like to know his name - flew very well!) oh and a Skywalk Tequila pilot who I thought landed in the Plumpton area but have since heard he got back up which is also very impressive!
Thanks to you all who committed with me on the long glide from the Ditchling ridge out to East Chiltington - it was worth it and we all worked well as a gaggle of 5 to get the best bit. Buzz Z4 pilot found the best bit :~)
Finished off with a lovely late lunch with friends in the sunshine in Upper Dicker!
Thank you - most needed :~)
