Flight details: | Back on top of Caburn by about 10 am. It had strengthened a fair bit, so got into the air sharpish. Thermals broken, couldn't get much height. Owen pushed well out front, Carlo got high briefly, Charlie headed east fairly low. With the wind picking up more, it was time to land, so I decided to see how far away I could land from about 1000ft ASL. The wind took me over the llamas heads this time, but I found no sign of a second thermal. As I packed up in strong wind, I was quite glad to be down. |
