Title: Flight from Milk Hill (Thames Valley)
Site:Milk Hill
Pilot:David Hague
Date of flight:6th March 2009
Wing type:Paraglider
Flight details:
Went to Thames Valley to take advantage of their better air. Frontal cloud came over as I arrived, which didn't help matters, but there were a few holes. Just about managed to climb out , averaging 50 fpm, not helped by flying out of the front of the climb a couple of times.

At base I managed to work out from the shadows that I was at the start of a mini cloud street, which I flew along (hooray!) and straight off the end without thinking (boo!). Had a brief drift in a zero over Marlborough which was just delaying the inevitable.

Got home to find out conditions had been much better at the Dyke. Hmmmmm.
