Claire arrives, and not-so-hairy Dave with his tandem. Then Dave N. & Richard C-N (now both the official Mount Caburn guardians / residents!); Caburn obliges it's two favourite PG pilots and the wind pulls on immediately for them. I lob off and quickly sink out. Others launch too. I GH my way back to top, have another go... scrabble, scrabble, scrabble... got a weak broken climb out front, drifting quickly E. SBF approaching rapidly, lots of wind on water - time to leave! I leave the hill 'round the side' rather than 'over the back'. Scrabble, scrabble, scrabble, scrabble [exit stage left]... [some time later]... I eventually connect with the SBF and get to near cloudbase; conditions look EPIC ahead, climbs are very good and very well formed - time to push on...
